Emerging from Stealth: Our Mission

Ben Gervais

Most biomedical startups are built by observers. They identify a market inefficiency, secure funding, and slowly grind their way through legacy regulatory and engineering hurdles.

33med is different. We are being built by Patient Zero.

For 22 years, I have lived with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). It is a relentless, inflammatory autoimmune disease that slowly calcifies the body's ligaments until the spine is completely fused. Today, up to 90% of my spinal bone is fused, accompanied by chronic daily inflammation.

We are emerging from stealth not because we found an interesting market opportunity, but because we require a solution to halt and reverse this condition.

Our mobility, quality of life, and unbreakable conviction are directly tied to the success of this platform. We are solving a complex biological data problem from the inside out.

The 100x AI Multiplier

Modern biotech is fundamentally a data and systems engineering problem. The legacy approach of hiring massive teams of researchers to run manual simulations over several years is fundamentally broken.

At 33med, we are deploying custom AI agent frameworks to autonomously operate existing open-source biotech R&D stacks. Instead of scaling human headcount, we are scaling compute.

Our digital R&D lab is being built to execute in hours what takes legacy institutions months. We are bridging the gap between highly scalable data infrastructure and modern biology by deploying:

A New Ecosystem

By shifting the paradigm away from mechanical saws to non-contact laser ablation, we are developing a fundamentally new surgical ecosystem. We are bypassing existing soft-tissue patent thickets entirely, creating our own proprietary IP fortress in the untouched orthopedic laser space.

The blueprint is digital. The execution is physical. The mission is personal. Welcome to 33med.
